Linear lighting & LED profiles

Linear lighting is the clean, continuous line of light that defines modern architecture — running along coves, ceilings, stairs, joinery and facades without a visible fixture. Lytronex designs seamless linear systems and recessed LED profiles that read as one unbroken line, smart-dimmable and engineered for the UAE.

What is linear lighting?

Linear lighting is continuous-run LED lighting housed in slim profiles that create an unbroken line of illumination. Recessed, surface-mounted or suspended, it is used in coves, ceilings, stairs and facades to add depth, guide the eye and light a space without visible individual fixtures.

Where linear lighting works

  • Cove & perimeter — soft, indirect light that lifts a ceiling.
  • Recessed ceiling & wall lines — crisp architectural lines flush with the surface.
  • Stair & step — safe, elegant grazing along treads.
  • Shelving & joinery — integrated light in niches, wardrobes and display units.
  • Facade & exterior — continuous lines along soffits and parapets.

Seamless, glare-free light

Quality linear lighting is about what you do not see — no dots, no dark gaps between diodes, no glare in the eye. Lytronex uses high-density, diffused profiles with proper drivers for an even, continuous line and flicker-free output, so the effect is architectural rather than industrial.

Smart-dimmable by design

Every run is designed for smart control — warm-dimming for the evening, scene presets and scheduling, integrated with the wider home. Sensors and timers can drive it automatically, so the lines respond to the time of day without a switch.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between linear lighting and strip lighting?

Strip lighting is the raw LED tape. Linear lighting is that light engineered into a finished profile with diffusion, heat management and a proper housing, for an even, durable, architectural result.

Can linear lighting be recessed into the ceiling?

Yes. Lytronex supplies recessed, surface-mounted and suspended profiles, including trimless recessed options that sit flush with plaster.

Is linear lighting dimmable?

Yes. Runs are designed to be smart-dimmable, with warm-dimming and scene control, and can be integrated into KNX or Z-Wave systems.
